THE ZOI PROJECT
WHO AND WHAT ARE WE?
The simple answer: The Zoi Project is an organisation set up by seven University of Brighton fashion students that aims to successfully divert waste from landfill.

To go into a bit more detail, here at The Zoi Project we understand the importance of sustainability for our planet. We mainly focus on diverting festival waste from going to landfill.
Bet you didn't know that here in the UK, festivals generate an estimated 23,500 tons of waste every year! Unfortunately, 68% of that figure ends up in landfill :(
We plan to change this :)

The Zoi Project gathers waste material from festivals like used tents and left-behind items of clothing that are then carefully crafted and upcycled into new wearable apparel and accessories. The items of clothing we create can then be hired out for use at festivals as a rental service so we can really keep our fashion circular in a positive way, therefore creating no threat of textile waste ending up in landfill. Accessories can be purchased with a percentage of all profits going towards a homelessness charity of your choice.

Recycle. Rework. Reuse.
